The Art of Procrastination
I stop and stare at an empty space,
My thoughts, they waltz before my face,
Spinning and spinning; a turtle race.
So many things I need to do,
I'll make a list and keep it true,
Yet rarely see the whole list through.
I close my eyes and contemplate,
Should I do this now or should I wait,
I'll save it for another date.
I love to write. One of my major goals in life is to have a novel published. Probably fiction. I also dabble in poetry and am considering trying out song-writing. Feel free to leave me some constructive criticism.

365 Day #26
My body is a war zone
Each morning the battles begin
My head versus my heart
My thoughts versus my actions
My personal Civil War
My laziness, the victor
More often times than not
When will the war end?
I'm longing for peace.
Each morning the battles begin
My head versus my heart
My thoughts versus my actions
My personal Civil War
My laziness, the victor
More often times than not
When will the war end?
I'm longing for peace.

365 Day #22
Wow, I've really slacked on my 365 Day Challenge... But I've signed up for a few haiku swaps on swap-bot, so I'm going to use those poems here as well. : ) Here's the first one:
Should I stay up late?
Kiss my husband at midnight?
No, I think I'll sleep...
(Just kidding... love you Hubby!)
